There won’t be a lot of words today. All you need to know is that I did not make the money in the $550 WSOP Mystery Bounty Tournament on Saturday, which I’m sad about. But I did make the money in The $600 WSOP Deep Stack Tournament today. Which I’m happy about. But I didn’t make it to Day 2 which I’m sad about. I came in 421st place out of almost 6000 players. Not bad. And I cashed for $1200, also not bad.
But that’s all the words for today. Today I thought I would give those of you who have never got to glimpse this poker world of mine in real life, a look inside. Here’s some pictures. Each one of the is, according to legend, worth a thousand words, so you do the math. Me? I’ve been doing math for 13 hours a day for the last two days. I’m tired.
Pics of the day. Possibly a new feature?
I played poker against this guy for over eight hours today. His name is Darin and he looks tough but he couldn’t possibly be any nicer. I was sorry when he lost.

This is the internet famous Martin Kabrhel. He wins by annoying people. So far in his life he’s annoyed people to the tune of 19 million dollars. He was playing at the next table. He’s very loud and … yeah…annoying.

This guy was playing at the table across from us. Please notice the cowboy boots with the prison orange jumpsuit. He sings while at the table. I don’t mean he quietly hums to himself. I mean he continuously belts out show tunes.

This guy needs no introduction. He’s just a classic.

This is a girl. Because I haven’t shown a girl yet. She’s intense.

This guy’s name is Eric Baldwin. I played at the same table as him for the better part of the day. Nice guy. He has over nine million dollars in winnings lifetime.

This guy is getting a head massage from one of the many masseuses in the building. Very common.

This guy has a long beard. You probably didn’t need me to tell you that.

I just like this guy.

Now listen to me, none of these people knew they were being photographed. Luckily, you’re one of the very few people who actually reads Virgil. So please don’t let this blog get so popular that one of these people comes back and litigates me. OK?
I’ll be back at the tables tomorrow because that’s what I’m here for.
If anything good, bad, or interesting happens I’ll let you know. You can count on that.
