We bagged chips! In layman’s terms that means we made it to day 2 of the $500 tournament at MGM. And for a change, I’m not going into Day 2 with a piddly stack. Out of a total of 860 entrants, 103 have made it to Day 2. We start at noon tomorrow, and go until we’re down to one winner. I believe the average chip stack is about 330,000 chips and I bagged 279,000. So I’m a little below average, which is what Mr. Hill, my grade 13 calculous teacher, always told me.
Making it to Day 2 also means you automatically make the money so we’re going to get a payday no matter what. Suck on THAT, Mr. Hill with your lisp and your Groucho Marx eye brows!
Also I saw SKULLMAN today. You may remember Skullman from Blog 97 last year. He’s the guy who wears skulls everywhere, rings, bracelets, necklaces, hat, all his clothes, he just loves skulls. He looks like a complete wacko, but we talked for a while today and he’s about as normal as mayonnaise. Weird. I have an ex-client who, if you saw her walking down the street, you would never, ever suspect the psycho that lurks within. And yet Skullman, who truly looks like he should have his own tailored straightjacket, is like a sit-com Dad.
Anyway, tonight’s for sleeping, not for writing. Let’s speak tomorrow, and I’ll tell you what happened.
