Blog No. 66 – It's Just Politics – Jan. 23,2017 – Toronto

Oh, these are strange times we live in my friends.

Who’d a thunk it? A man that has been so polarizing, so divisive,
was voted in against what seemed like impossible odds. We underestimated and dismissed him, and yet he’s in, despite the
public outcry to squash him.

It’ll never happen we said. It’s impossible. He doesn’t have
the credentials. He doesn’t belong there. It’ll never go his way, we
miscalculated. Surely, the voters are smarter than that. Aren’t they? Why, it’ll
sully the reputations of every elected candidate who came before him. Won’t it?

But folks, it happened. Tim Raines is in the Baseball Hall Of Fame.
We might as well get used to it.

I’m heading to LA at the end of this week for my annual slew
of meetings with agents and managers and casting directors.

There may be poker.

If I have anything interesting to share from (or away from)
the green felt, I’ll be sure to post. If not, well, not.
