OK, here’s something I don’t understand. Three times last
week (two of those times during a meal!), relative strangers, in broad
daylight, say to me “I have to watch
everything I eat, I have such a slow metabolism”, or “Rich, you stay so thin, you must have a fast metabolism”, that
sort of thing.

I looked it up just to confirm my suspicions. Here’s what I
found. Metabolism – 1. the sum total of the chemical
processes that occur
in living organisms, resulting in growth, production
of energy, elimination of waste material, etc. Just
as I suspected. Metabolism is just a fancy word for Pooing! I knew it! They are
talking about pooing!

Question: Why is this OK?! Why is this acceptable? This is what you want to discuss? Over freakin’

Let’s talk a bit about poker. I went to Los Angeles for my
annual slew of meetings. They went well, thank you for asking. In between, I managed
to attend the festivities at Commerce Casino where The Annual LA Classic is being held. You may remember (and if you
don’t, I will be happy to remind you ad nauseum) that last year I won one of
the tournaments at this event. Did you remember that? That I won? Because I
won. Last year. In Los Angeles. At this event. Ten thousand clams.
