Four hands in. I did what I had to do which was shove my A-9 from the cut-off. Unfortunately I shoved it right into Aces. Flop came TJQ which actually gave me plenty of outs for either a win or a chop, but alas it wasn’t in the cards. Get it? Wasn’t in the cards? That’s some kinda poker humor, right there!

S’Okay. I played it right, that’s what matters. Good tourney.

The good news? there’s a $235 re-entry at Caesars and I can late register up until 4:15 this afternoon. Think I’ll catch a few rays, read my kindle, enjoy a refreshing smoothie, and then head over there.
