Blog Fourty – Playing for raisins – Saturday June 29 9:00 AM – Las Vegas

·

Big tourney today. Well, not big at all, but it’s a tourney and we’ll treat it like any other. It’s a $200 re-buy tournament here at The Wynn. The re-buy aspect means that for the first three hours you can re-buy (for $200) and get a fresh stack of chips. So the whole ordeal could cost you anywhere from $200 – $2000 to enter depending on how you run for the first three hours. They expect 80-100 entrants. There’s a $25000 guarantee for the prize pool so the winner will get about 8 or 9 grand.

We’ll see what happens. I wish I had my muffin this morning. As some of you know, I have the same muffin every morning. It’s from a company called Grainfields and I drag my whole family down to St. Lawrence Market every couple weeks to get a full supply and then I freeze them. They’re completely natural and when you bite into one of the raisins, it changes your whole day. I have no idea how they do it. I think they infuse the raisins with Ecstasy. I think about them every day as I drive to work. I swear that’s true. I don’t think about my kids, or my wife, or wild fires in California, or Obama-care, or my clients. I just think about the euphoria that will envelop me upon the first bite of that muffin. And you know what? Unlike almost anything else in this world, it never disappoints.

It’s a little like winning a poker tournament, getting a blowjob, and finding a brand new car in your driveway… every morning.

Anyway I’ll keep you informed.
